Create Your Own God (CYOG)

Create Your Own God (CYOG) is a philosophical principle in Pure TOKENISM that gives every human complete freedom to imagine and define God according to their own understanding.

TOKENISM does not impose one universal image of God. Instead, it encourages curiosity, personal reflection, creative thinking, and intellectual honesty while remaining open to being proven wrong.

Pure TOKENISM believes that no human authority should force a single concept of God upon humanity.

Every individual has the freedom to explore questions such as:

What is God?

Does God exist?

Is God consciousness, nature, love, mathematics, or something beyond imagination?

Is it acceptable to say, “I don’t know”?

There is no punishment for uncertainty. Questioning is encouraged.

A person may personally imagine God as:

• The Universe
• The Laws of Nature
• Consciousness
• Love or Compassion
• Mathematics and Order
• Aliveness itself
• Cosmic Intelligence
• Or choose not to believe in any God at all

In TOKENISM, these are personal philosophical perspectives, not verified truths.

CYOG separates three important ideas:

Belief — What an individual personally accepts.

Imagination — Creative ideas that inspire exploration.

Verified Truth — Claims supported by reliable evidence and observation.

Imagination is valuable because it creates new questions. Truth requires verification.

The goal of CYOG is not to create another rigid belief system.

Its purpose is to remove unnecessary conflict over the image of God while protecting every person’s freedom to think, question, and explore existence.

Instead of asking everyone to believe the same thing, Pure TOKENISM asks humanity to respect different perspectives while seeking truth together.

Create Your Own God (CYOG) represents freedom of imagination guided by humility. Every human has the right to explore the greatest questions of existence, remain open to evidence, respect other viewpoints, and continue the lifelong pursuit of truth and clarity.
