TOKENISM – The Pledge Explained
The Pledge of Tokenism is a voluntary and conscious commitment made by an individual who chooses to follow Tokenism. It is not an oath of obedience, fear, or submission to any authority or deity. Instead, it is a personal declaration of values, responsibility, and intent toward humanity, truth, and rational living.
#The Pledge of Tokenism
I submit myself to the name of science.
I will think.
I will ask questions.
I will not blindly believe, but I will search for the truth.
I will use logical reasoning.
I will work to unite humanity.
I will work to make the world a better place for everyone.
I will respect every human being equally.
I will choose learning and thinking over fear and blind prayer.
#Explanation of the Pledge
Submitting to science means committing to evidence, verification, and truth rather than superstition or blind belief. It does not mean rejecting emotions or humanity, but using knowledge to guide decisions.
Thinking and asking questions are central to Tokenism. A Tokenist does not accept information passively but actively examines, verifies, and understands it.
Rejecting blind belief does not mean rejecting curiosity or openness. It means refusing to accept claims without evidence while remaining open to new verified knowledge.
Logical reasoning ensures that decisions are made thoughtfully, ethically, and responsibly, reducing harm and misunderstanding.
Working to unite humanity reflects the belief that humans are one species sharing one planet. Division based on belief, culture, or identity weakens humanity.
Making the world a better place emphasizes action over worship. Tokenism values real-world contribution, education, compassion, and problem-solving.
Respecting every human equally is non-negotiable in Tokenism. No belief system, identity, or orientation makes one human superior to another.
Choosing learning and thinking over fear-based prayer represents confidence in human capability and responsibility for shaping the future.
#Nature of the Pledge
The pledge is not permanent, enforced, or monitored. An individual may revisit, reinterpret, or step away from it at any time. Tokenism values freedom of thought above rigid commitment.
